Meet Bethany
Bethany Emanuel, M.Ed., CCC-SLP
Owner & Speech Language Pathologist
I have been an ASHA-certified speech language pathologist for 11 years with experience in a variety of settings such as skilled nursing, private practice, and a nationally-ranked rehabilitation hospital. I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees in speech language pathology from the University of Georgia (go dawgs!). My services include speech therapy for teens and adults with acquired brain injuries or neurological diagnoses. I also offer executive function coaching sessions for teens and adults with ADHD or anyone who wants to optimize their organization and time management skills. My area of expertise is in cognitive communication challenges and I treat areas such as memory, attention, executive functioning, expressive & receptive language, social communication, and speech production/motor speech. I feel passionately about neuroplasticity and the concept that the brain can continue to make new connections and learn new tools. I love the complex and dynamic nature of cognitive rehabilitation- finding new systems and optimizing them to fit each client’s daily life. I live in the north Atlanta area with my husband and our three children. In my free time, I love going for walks, taking Barre or Pilates classes, grabbing an iced coffee with a friend, traveling, and taking my kids to the playground.
